AS A COMPETITION DEVELOPS HIM

The rules which chair to the development of the competitions are the ones dictated by the regulation of the worldwide association of the goldpanners "WORLD GOLDPANNING ASSOCIATION (W.G.A)" . Every competitor is delivered a bucket of sand in which hidden by the jury, lies a number included form 5 to 12 flakes made of gold which must have a diameter superior than 1 mm. The number of the flakes is the same for all the competitors and up to the term of every test no one, beyond the "sower", knows the number of the wisps of straw hidden in the bucket. The granted maximum time is of fifteen minutes, even if on average an able seeker concludes his test within the 4 minutes. The rating considers the spent time to remove all the sand arriving to pick up and deposit the flakes found again in a little phial. At this time a weighing penalties (3 Min) is added. For every wisp of straw possibly lost. Paying a lot of attention not to let him escape is necessary being fast therefore, but also no wisp of straw. Therefore the competition is a true ability test where the component "luck" relatively means little.
